Nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (nZEBs)

According to the EU Directive 2010/31 / EU (Article 2), a building with nearly zero energy consumption is defined as a very energy efficient building with a very low energy demand.  Its energy demand can be met through the use of renewable energy sources, including energy produced on or near the building site.

Based on new Greek legislation in response to Community directives, from 1 January 2019, all new buildings housing public or wider public sector services must be “nearly zero energy” buildings. From 1 January 2021, this obligation will extend to all new buildings (and the private sector).

Our team undertakes the study and design of nearly zero-energy buildings, utilizing the excellent training of our associates and the innovation and experience of the international construction industry in this field.
